A schoolboy has discovered a treasure
Did you know that in 1974 a treasure in the Saint-Maximin areanot far from the Creil and Saint-Leu-d'Esserent locks?
A Schoolchildren on a field trip with his class, would have stumbled over what he at first took to be a stone, only to look twice at it, and thus discover a pottery.
It was actually a vase which contained items from another age! Excavations were carried out and more than 2,000 coins, antoniniani (Roman coins).
