Parking
Located on the edge of the village, at the entrance to the woods, the pond is reached by taking the footpath leading to Cramoisy. The site has been left as natural as possible to ensure the tranquillity of the flora and fauna that thrive around the pond. It's the ideal place to watch ducks, moorhens, dragonflies and other small creatures. The only facilities on site are a picnic table at the entrance to the pond, where you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature. The peaceful atmosphere is only disturbed by the passing of a train on the Creil-Beauvais line and the bleating of goats from the nearby Utopie mini-farm.
The pond is part of a group of lakes known as "De la Maladrerie", separated from the Montataire urban park by the railway line. A small path allows you to cross it safely to extend your walk in the Montataire park.
The site is freely accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Swimming and fishing are not permitted at Thiverny pond.
