Presentation of the Tourist Office

The Creil Sud Oise Tourist Office, a Public Establishment of Industrial and Commercial Interest (EPIC), has been created in January 2018, following the merger of two communities of communes and their Tourist Office: the Communauté d'Agglomération Creilloise (CAC) and the Communauté de communes Pierre Sud Oise (PSO). 

In October 2019The tourist facilities of the House of Stone of the South of the Oiselocated in Saint-Maximin, joined the EPIC.

The Creil Sud Oise Tourist Office and the Maison de la Pierre du Sud de l'Oise now form Creil Sud Oise Tourism (EPIC).

Creil Sud Oise Tourisme is administered by a Management Committee composed of two colleges (the college of elected representatives and the college of socio-professionals) with a President and two Vice-Presidents.

The EPIC Creil Sud Oise Tourisme is administered by a management committee and managed by a director. The governance of the EPIC Creil Sud Oise Tourisme is made up of 23 full members and 23 deputy members. The committee deliberates on all matters concerning the operation and activity of Creil Sud Oise Tourisme.

The President of Creil Sud Oise Tourisme (EPIC) is Michel BLARY, 7^th Vice-President of ACSO, Mayor of Thiverny. The two Vice-Chairmen are Hervé LEFEZ, 10^th Vice-President of ACSO, Mayor of Maysel from the college of elected representatives and Marion KALT, Director of the Gallé-Juillet Museum Heritage Department and Municipal Archives from the college of socio-professionals.

Creil Sud Oise Tourisme is managed by a director and has a staff of team of 9 people.

To promote the richness and identity of the territory of the community ofAgglomeration Creil Sud Oise (ACSO) and develop attendance are the objectives of Creil Sud Oise Tourism. The Tourist Office works in conjunction with the Department of Economic Development, Employment and Training (DDEEF), particularly with the ACSO Tourism Department. The Tourism, Heritage and Leisure department implements the territory's tourism development strategy in consultation with Creil Sud Oise Tourisme.

Gateway and showcase of the territoryThe Tourist Office is a genuine territorial director in the midst of several actors: visitors, partner service providers, inhabitants, elected officials and technicians of the ACSO community.  

Its varied tasks are as follows:

• Welcome and promote the assets of the Creil Sud Oise destination
• Coordinate the interventions of the various partners in local tourism development
• Marketingcreate new tourism products and boost the economic impact 
• Developing and structuring the offer with participation in the development and implementation of local tourism policy in conjunction with ACSO's tourism department
• Offer occasional leisure activities or the organisation of festivals or cultural events, and / or assisting in the realisation of events aimed at raising awareness

The Tourist Office has a complementary mission with the operation of a tourist site the House of Stone of the South of the Oise. This tourist facility promotes and enhances for tourism, economic, cultural and educational purposes, stone and quarry heritage in all its forms.
