The Faïencerie-Théâtre, a conventioned stage, was built in the early 1990s on the site of the former earthenware factory that made Creil famous in the 19th century. Equipped with the largest stage in the Oise region and a spacious dance studio, the Faïencerie-Théâtre can host large-scale shows in all disciplines.
This venue offers an eclectic programme of over 50 theatre, music, dance, circus, comedy and visual arts shows a year. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, it transforms into a cinema with a programme of films by authors, documentaries and films for young audiences.
Three festivals are organised in towns across the conurbation: "Mosaïque" street arts festival in September; "Les infaillibles" youth festival in February; "Les p'tites tommettes" festival for toddlers in April-May.
A child-minding service is available for some shows (€2 per child, booking required).
