European Heritage Days 2024 - Museums of Senlis

Every year, Senlis' three museums take part in the European Heritage Days. This event is an opportunity to discover the collections in a unique atmosphere.

Museum of Art and Archaeology
At the Musée d'Art et d'Archéologie, come and discover the exhibition "Corps à corps - Combats et luttes dans le sport", in partnership with the Fondation Francès in Senlis, which celebrates fights on and off the rings to mark the Olympic year.
Guided tours (duration: 45min) :
- Saturday 21 September: 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm
- Sunday 22 September: 2pm, 3.30pm and 5pm
From 10am to 7pm, the museum is open free of charge.

Museum of Venery
These are the last days of "High as three apples: the museum for children. Once upon a forest"! This exhibition invites you to plunge into the magical and enchanted world of the forest, in a setting suited to the youngest visitors, with its low hanging, a reading and drawing corner, and a games booklet.

- Sunday 22 September: 10.30 a.m. and 12 noon
From 10am to 7pm, the museum is open free of charge. You can also visit the Vénerie museum cellar.

Spahis Museum
The Spahis Museum tells the story of these North African cavalrymen who were garrisoned at Senlis until 1962. From 10am to 7pm, the museum is open free of charge.
