The 22 sept. 2024
Sainte-Croix Chapel 60500 CHANTILLY
from 10h00 to 13h00
In the 16th century, Anne de Montmorency set up a pilgrimage of seven chapels on his Chantilly estate, modelled on the basilicas of Rome. Accompanied by a guide, take a walk through the grounds of the château and the town, and follow this itinerary in search of these seven buildings... If this walk doesn't earn you forgiveness for your sins, at least it will reveal something of the history of Chantilly during the Renaissance!
The route is around 6 km long, from the first chapel to Place Omer Vallon, passing through the château grounds. A word of advice
You can park in the Reservoir car park (free), behind the Tourist Office, halfway along the route.
