The 16 nov. 2024
60300 SENLIS
On Saturday 16 November at 3pm in Senlis, a meeting will be held on the history and heritage of two villages in the Senlis region. These are Rosières, a discreet and little-known hilltop village, and Rully, a market town at the source of the Aunette, said to be the oldest parish in the Valois. Just a stone's throw away, two very different histories and terroirs will be presented. It's an opportunity to paint a picture of the micro-history of our region, from Protohistory to the French Revolution. The lecture will be given by Nicolas Bilot, archaeologist and administrator of the Senlis Society of History and Archaeology.
Meet at the Salle Polyvalente of the Centre de Rencontre de l'Obélisque, 4ter route de Creil.
