Internship | Stone cutting

Come to the Maison de la Pierre for a real time of sharing and learning about the famous Saint-Maximin stone! Frédéric, a real stone-cutter and trainer in the stone-cutting trade, will share his passion for this age-old craft with you!
2 options to choose from:
- 6-hour introductory workshop for adults and teenagers aged 10 and over (rosette measuring 10 x 10 x 1.5cm)
- 2-day introductory workshop (2 x 6h) for adults and teenagers aged 15 and over (30 x 30 x 3cm rosette)
Au programme : Tels les tailleurs de pierre qui ont façonné nos cathédrales, partez à la découverte de la taille de pierre et apprenez à manipuler les outils traditionnels pour réaliser une petite rosace. Frédéric vous guidera et s'adaptera à votre niveau pour que vous puissiez mener votre projet à son terme. Au terme de votre journée ou de votre week-end de stage, vous aurez alors la grande satisfaction d'emporter un véritable chef-d'œuvre taillé par vous-même, représentatif de l'art gothique qui sublime notre patrimoine bâti !
