The 25 sept. 2024
carrefour du poteau du Grand-Maître 60700 FLEURINES
from 14h00 to 16h00
On 25 September 2024, as part of the "Tous en forêt" operation, the Office national des forêts is offering users the chance to meet the men and women who look after our public forests. The event will take place in the Halatte national forest, at the crossroads of Poteau du Grand-Maître.
"Tous en forêt" takes place on the last Wednesday in September from 2pm and offers users the chance to meet foresters in the field, in the forest, for an afternoon of guided walks or themed meetings.
This discussion forum is an opportunity for users to ask any questions they may have and to receive direct answers in return, illustrated by real-life situations observed in the forest: what are the consequences of global warming on trees? how is biodiversity protected in the forest? what uses and sporting activities are permitted? can you walk in the forest on hunting days? why and how are trees cut down? etc.
The meeting lasts around two hours and is free of charge.
