Lamorlaye Horse Festival

The Fête du Cheval 2024 is coming up, and will be held on 21 September in the grounds of the Château. Come one, come all to celebrate this day dedicated to our equine companions with activities for all the family!

Programme for the day :
DAY (11h00/17h00)
-Presentation of the jockeys' outfits and equipment
Horse-drawn carriage rides 11.00/13.00/14.00/15.00/16.00. On-site registration for departures
-Exhibition on Lamorlaye jockeys who have been awarded the golden whip (by the ALMA association),
-Inflatable structures for children,
-Face painting stand, horseshoe key ring workshop and "the horse's tail" game for the little ones (by Cheryne Anim).

ENTERTAINMENT TIMES
➡ 7am-11.30am: tours of the "France Galop" training ground as part of the Heritage Days,
➡ 11.00am-12.00pm: "Cockade" creative workshop by the library for children aged 6 and over (registration at the library on 03 44 21 64 15),
➡ 2pm-5pm: pony rides and paddling (by Lalaux Laville stables),
➡ 2pm-4.30pm: two-legged horse competition for children aged 6 to 13 and prize-giving at 4.30pm,
➡ 14h30-17H00: departure place du Calvaire in front of the Anglican chapel walking tour "In the footsteps of the old Lamorlaye stables and their trainers" (by the ALMA association), for Teenagers and Adults.
➡ 15:00-16:00: Folk dance demonstration (by the twinning committee).
SHOWS
➡ 5pm: show by the AG DIOSA association. Enchanting acts with horses and ponies,
➡ 8.15pm: show by Vincent Liberator.
