On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the enthusiastic volunteers of the Saint-Maximin Bombing Museum will be welcoming you free of charge to tell you the story of this village in the Oise department, which was almost completely razed to the ground during the bombings exactly 80 years ago!
This is an opportunity to find out more about the aerial warfare that took place in the skies over the Oise region between June and August 1944, when the Allies liberated France, and to admire the impressive collection of military artefacts, German and French uniforms, period documents and old photographs.
Guided tour of the Bombing Museum from 2pm to 5pm on 21 and 22 September 2024.
Free admission, no need to book.
