As part of the European Heritage Days, ALMA is organising a guided tour entitled "Discovering the seigniorial sector of Lamorlaye", starting in front of the church of Saint-Nicolas, rue de l'église. The tour will look at the lords and chateaux of Lamorlaye, from Henri de Saint-Denis to the King of France, with the first known castle (12th century), of which only the moat remains today, and the current castle, From the end of the 15th century to the middle of the 20th century, Lamorlaye underwent a number of changes through its various lords, from Antoine de Galles to François Séroux de Bienville, and from the same François Séroux de Bienville to Henri Vigier...
The tour is based on research carried out for the city by Aquilon.
The meeting point is at 10am in front of Saint-Nicolas church, rue de l'église.
