As an inflatable castle is erected on the stage, four young men embark on the splendid and epic tale of Le Cid. With honour, love and vengeance, they inflate themselves until they finally blend into the characters of Pierre Corneille's tragi-comedy. Chimène, Rodrigue, the Infanta and the Count appear before us, and the play can begin.
