An astronaut, alone in her space station, is on her way to new worlds. How do you keep yourself busy, how do you dress, how do you celebrate your birthday when you're levitating in the middle of the universe, isolated and without landmarks? Forced to live in a box a few cubic metres in size and in perpetual motion, she has to adapt and find solutions to keep her upright. Everyday gestures become choreographed, poetic, absurd, funny and unusual, and the sensation of gravity disappears.
Bastien Dausse invites the audience into an impressionistic "space opera". A UFO show combining video, science, dance and circus, MIR seeks to tell the story of a form of solitude, an escape into the world of the imagination.
