Parc de la Faïencerie is a municipal park in the centre of the town, just a stone's throw from Ile Saint-Maurice. It owes its name to the former earthenware factory that made the town famous in the 19th century. Paths have been laid out in this small wood, bordered on one side by the banks of the Oise and on the other by a limestone hillside in which troglodytes have been dug. The "côte à Cri-cri", beautifully redeveloped in 2015, provides a link from the park to the heights of Creil. The park features a number of picnic tables and a large area for running or playing ball. Nearby, the Espace culturel de la Faïencerie features a theatre (theatre, concert, circus, etc.), a media library, a hall hosting trade fairs (Manga convention, book fair, potters' fair, diques convention, etc.) and the "Le Flora" brasserie. St Maurice is also home to the Musée Gallé-Juillet and the Maison de la Faïence.
