Parking
The banks of the river Oise in Saint-Maximin offer paths for walks, hikes and sports activities. Indeed, the path along the banks of the Oise is on the hiking trail "In the footsteps of the builders" as well as on the GR11. Picnic tables and benches allow you to take a gourmet break by the water.
Nearby is the Etang Sainte-Barbe, and going up to the village of Saint-Maximin, you can discover the history of stone extraction by visiting the Maison de la Pierre du Sud de l'Oise.
You can also cross the Oise by the Saint-Leu Bridge to continue your walk along the banks of Saint-Leu-d'Esserent and reach the Leisure Centre and the Nautical Centre.
