Since November 2021, the municipality of Saint Maximin and Nattie Arnaudon, nature educator and phytotherapist, have been working together to turn this former open-air quarry into an educational garden and bucolic haven of peace. Nattie welcomes you here on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and on the first weekend of every month for workshops and events on flora and fauna, or just for a visit. In this relaxing setting, you can discover many plants and small animals, understand their role in the ecosystem and, above all, discover our diversity! Follow the programme of events on the Jardin pédagogique de la Tranchée Facebook page or website.
Free admission.
For groups, Nattie welcomes you to the garden to help you discover the flora and fauna, in line with the United Nations' sustainable development objectives. Cooking workshops can be organised to discover and taste wild plants. Conferences can be organised for a seminar on well-being, medicinal plants, cosmetics, cooking... It's also an ideal place to organise yoga sessions, mediation, or other body-mind practices. Get in touch with Nattie if you have any questions!
